Early September 2019 Nikon announced the development of this sixth (or fourteenth) professional digital single reflex camera. And early February 2020 this flagship was introduced.

The new professional D-SLR has a 20.8 Mp. CMOS sensor with a sensibility of ISO 100 - 102.400, extendable by 5 EV up to a theoretically ISI 3.280.000 ! The Exceed 6 processor is able to manage 14 fps in NEF 14-bit on fast CF or SD memory cards. Making movies (with stereo sound) is possible in 4k UHD. Images can be sent (max. 10 meters) to relevant devices via built-in LAN, Bluetooth and Snapbridge. The camera has also a built-in GPS. For more info see the matrix.
